All Smithey cookware is proudly sourced and manufactured in the United States. Our cast iron and carbon steel are made from American-sourced materials, and every piece is finished, seasoned, and shipped from our headquarters in Charleston, South Carolina.
We pre-season all cookware with our signature grapeseed oil blend before it leaves our facility.
While all of our cookware is made in the USA, we do source a small number of accessories (such as leather sleeves and some tools) from abroad.
We also conduct third-party testing on our cookware, and our most recent results show levels well under the pass/fail limits for heavy metals. We don't add any coatings or compounds to our cookware — just seasoning oil.
